2nd Cosmetics Workshop Held at the Faculty of Pharmacy

The second Cosmetics Workshop, organized in collaboration between Mersin University Faculty of Pharmacy and the 25th Regional Mersin Chamber of Pharmacists of the Turkish Pharmacists' Association (TEB), was held on October 6, 2026, at the Pharmaceutical Technology Student Laboratory of Mersin University.

Reflecting the University's strong relationships with external stakeholders and its commitment to practice-oriented professional education, the workshop was attended by Pharmacist Aliye AKGÜL AYDIN, President of the 25th Regional Mersin Chamber of Pharmacists, and 15 students.

The hands-on training sessions were conducted by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Necmiye CANACANKATAN; Assoc. Prof. Selda DOĞAN ÇALHAN; Res. Asst. Dr. Ece ÇOBANOĞLU; Res. Asst. Özlem NEKÜK; and Res. Asst. Canan ÇULHA.

During the Cosmetics Workshop, participants had the opportunity to gain practical knowledge and experience in cosmetic product formulations and preparation techniques. By combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on laboratory activities, the workshop introduced students to current approaches and practices aimed at enhancing their professional development.

The event, which further strengthened the collaboration between Mersin University and the 25th Regional Mersin Chamber of Pharmacists, concluded with active participation and considerable interest. Participants expressed their satisfaction with the workshop, highlighting its effectiveness in supporting continuing professional education and promoting the exchange of practical knowledge.
