University-Industry Collaboration Meeting Held Between Mersin University and AYB Endüstri

Mersin University continues to engage with industry representatives, aiming to strengthen university-industry collaboration and align its academic expertise with the needs of the industrial sector.

In this context, a meeting was held on October 15, 2026, with representatives from AYB Endüstri Mühendislik A.Ş., attended by Prof. Dr. Caner Özdemir, Dean of Research at Mersin University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ümit İzgi Onbaşılı, Coordinator of External Relations and Projects.

During the meeting, potential collaboration opportunities were evaluated, focusing on the university’s research infrastructure and academic areas of expertise in relation to the technological requirements of the industry. Discussions centered on areas such as joint R&D projects, the development of innovative technologies, the utilization of national and international project funding, and the transfer of academic knowledge to the industrial sector.
